From the Desk of Honourable Sri Justice A. Santhosh Reddy, (Former President)

PRESIDENT - PHOTO-2019

Judges are the principal operators of the law. They owe a duty to the people to make Constitutional promises a reality. Due to particular factors and societal conditions, often times, it becomes a tough task for Judges to live up to this expectation. Many times, the Judge remains the lone fighter for the cause of Constitutional and legislative promises. As such, he or she may feel distanced and alienated. Yet, he or she cannot share such intimate feelings with anyone, given the nature of the job. I do not think even the family members can fill this critical gap. Here, comes the need for a guide, friend and philosopher who can empathize, understand and make the Judge believe the importance of discharging his/her duties with integrity and moral vigour. Accordingly, the Association has taken up multiple responsibilities to ensure the all-round welfare of Judges and promote a sense of family togetherness amongst the judicial fraternity in the larger interest of the institution. This website is designed to provide ready guidance on the multiple issues that a Judge would frequently encounter in his or her day-to-day professional life. This can be in the form of tips and techniques for the smooth progression of his or her judicial career and personal life; necessary support for securing due entitlements in the career graph; a platform to work out better ways and means for effective discharge of duties; seeking inputs for improving the working conditions; to act as a viable link between members and high offices and other stakeholders; and finally, to ensure basic facilities for all Judges.

To ensure privacy and confidentiality, the website will be made accessible only to Association members.

To discharge these duties effectively, we solicit your active support and cooperation.

Thank you!
- A. Santhosh Reddy
